As federal policies continue to shift and challenge our communities, we can no longer settle for or afford “business as usual” politicians. People are hurting, and we are tired of a government that fails to deliver real results. Housing costs are unaffordable. Healthcare is too costly. Everyday essentials like groceries, energy, the cost of living keep rising with no end in sight. Meanwhile, this administration has no real plan for relief only to reward the old politics.
Today, our county faces the highest housing foreclosure rates and significant federal job losses in Maryland, making life harder for families.
To tackle the affordability crisis and fix this mess, we must see this moment as an opportunity—an opportunity to demand NEW leadership with a bold vision for investment, equity, and economic growth.
Our plan is clear: a focused economic strategy built on faith, family, and finances. This is the prescription to fix what’s broken. It means expanding our commercial tax base, cutting taxes for working- and middle-class families, and building a 21st-century economy that attracts investment and creates shared prosperity.
This is our chance to turn frustration into action. The time for change isn’t tomorrow. It’s today.
